Camarillo Tutoring Inc. has been outstanding in their assistance with helping my son achieve academic success in school. Without them, the possibilities for him were limited in the public school system.
My son was diagnosed with speech and language disabilities, as well as, later on reading/decoding problems. As a pre-schooler, he attended the Pleasant Valley School District PEEP program. In elementary school he was placed in all of the special reading programs and had assessments done by teacher and psychologists to no avail. Even so, he never could catch up to grade level but always would eventually test out of the program, even though the teachers wanted to keep him in. There were always too many kids needing the help.
All through this time I also enlisted the aid of a private tutor.
Finally, we took him to Camarillo Tutoring Inc., and put in the program during the summer of 2004. Within just a few short weeks, before the end of summer vacation, he was testing at or above grade level and the first report cards that fall were amazing. It has not stopped there and he continues to excel all because of this program! Also, his attitude has changed on how he perceives school, homework and instructors.

Our daughter, Kellee, has attended Camarillo Tutoring Inc. for almost three years. We initially enrolled Kellee during her third grade school year for assistance with basic math facts, reading comprehension and development of writing skills. Since enrollment, the center’s director, Erwin Quizon has created and made revisions as necessary to a personalized study program for Kellee. Kellee has excelled her math and reading abilities to approximately 3-5 years above her school grade level. She has maintained an “A” grade point average. We are extremely pleased with Kellee’s progress. Camarillo Tutoring has made a very positive impact on Kellee’s education.
